life as a leo spouse

If your spouse works in law emforcement then you know what leo stands for, law enforcement officer. Mine does. He is a correctional officer and he works the mandated 40 hours a weeks then most weeks he works another 20-30 hours. He does not spend much time at home. that does put a strain on our relationship. Our 2 boys miss him so much when heis at work. Of course the pay is great and I do understand why he works so much. I am also attending college for my bachelors in criminal justice, I already have my associates in criminal justice. I only have 2 semesters left, then I will be getting my masters in psychology. My goal is to be a criminal psychologist. James is a loving husband and a wonderful father, he misses us as much as we miss him. I keep telling myself we only have 25 more years of this before retirement. I know that is a long time but soon he will be getting his vacation time and we will be able to afford to go places for actual vacations. That is something we have not been able to do ever.
